Central Operations Summer Student
2 Positions available – Taber shop
St. Mary River Irrigation District requires an Operations Summer Student for our Central
Division based at the Taber shop location.
This is a summer position which usually runs from the end of May to the end of August
each year.
Duties may include weed control, working on various construction and maintenance
projects.
Knowledge and skills relating to irrigation construction as well as experience with
operating canals & buried pipeline systems would be an asset but are not required.
The ideal candidate must be able to work in all weather conditions and have a minimum
Class 5 – GDL License with a clean abstract.
