Watershed Legacy Program
TID encourages sustainable land management in our district. With support from various grants we are installing constructed wetlands, naturalized stormwater treatment systems and constructed wetlands. Our most recent project is Reservoir Riparian Enhancement (Government of Alberta Watershed Resiliency and Restoration Program) to ensure a healthy vegetative buffer along our shorelines. Oldman Watershed Council has been funding and developing similar projects in our watershed. Click HERE to learn how you can be involved through a project idea you may have, or to help protect our water supply by supporting upstream projects.
